Russian troops in Chernihiv have opened fire on people standing in  line for bread

Russian forces shelled a suburb of Chernihiv, killing at least 10 civilians near a local bakery. They were reportedly standing in line to buy bread.

Over 100 children have also been injured since Russia launched its all-out invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova said on Facebook.

In Chernihiv, during the attack of the Russian military, the stadium was damaged.  Yuri Gagarin, as well as the library building  the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.

UK Defense Intelligence says Russian forces are struggling to overcome challenges posed by Ukraine's terrain.

Russian troops have remained largely tied to Ukraine’s road network and have demonstrated a reluctance to conduct off-road maneuvers, says the UK Defense Ministry.
